Description
The entire pattern of the Diamantina model is based on the use of triangles and trapezoids. Among them - in shades of grey, beige, brown, and ivory - there are also blue geometric figures that immediately catch the eye, as if they were in the foreground.
The company GPC was established in honour of an outstanding architect from Milan as part of a collaboration between Gio Ponti Archives and Amini Carpets.
Inspired by the works of the Italian architect Gio Ponti, who passed away nearly four decades ago, an extraordinary brand was founded. Products under the GPC logo are handcrafted from natural materials: Tibetan wool and silk. The intense colours and high-quality raw materials reflect the style of this Italian architect. The same goes for the unique designs, including geometric patterns and individual figures: circles, hexagons, triangles, as well as straight and broken lines.
Gio Ponti himself, who lived from 1891 to 1979, despite many artistic successes, is mainly remembered as the creator of the Pirelli Tower project in his hometown.
Tips:
