Description

Curling, twisting, and weaving from thin metal threads result in a sublime artistic expression known as Filigree. This piece of art of ancient origin, which only a few skilled artisans today can recreate, is proudly showcased on the modern Viana dressing table.

This delicate jewellery has been applied to the legs of Viana, which, in addition to the silver filigree, also features all the lines of traditional Portuguese furniture. The ombré effect creates a colour transition from black to white, and the high-gloss lacquered finish adds a classic elegance. Inside, luminous burgundy velvet surrounds a woman's best friends in perfect condition.

The brand Malabar was founded in 2012, along with the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the World Architects collection of stylish furniture. It has designed and released a total of 5 unique collections of furniture and accessories.

Malabar has left its mark on the most prestigious international fairs, such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, or Seoul International. These are the top places to showcase.

Malabar's furniture production comes from the Oporto area, a northern region in Portugal, with a long and strong tradition in handmade products.

The identity of this prestigious brand is based on the national architectural and artistic heritage of the past 5 centuries.

International experience and the pursuit of perfection are the details that set the path for such original companies. Emotions, craftsmanship, and out-of-this-world design create an explosive mix of luxury furniture.

Various techniques of manufacturing goods from natural wood produce amazing effects, as seen in Malabar's unique collections. An important aspect of design is the combination of neutral and black colours.

Juicy and vivid colours dominate, significantly deviating from classic and template furniture.

In addition to wood, the manufacture uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.

The Portuguese soul is very colourful and fascinating, clearly visible in the bold furniture designs.

The company's name itself comes from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the cape. It was the value of original spices that prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold maritime route.

It remains so today, as Malabar sets very individual boundaries of design and evokes extreme emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely luxurious.

And these are the products we love and introduce to the My Luxury Products platform.
