Sartori is an Italian factory born in the heart of Veneto from a passion for high-quality design with an old tradition of hand-woven knots. Their adventure began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, for home furnishings sales.  In the 1950s, when the innovative Sartori carpet design began to gain popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded the Italian market design to the entire world. These exciting carpets gained recognition globally, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required the opening of headquarters in China. A very important project emerged in 2008. From the collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea paved its way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and young style. Thus, the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, repainted, and hand-stitched. This results in a unique and very special carpet, a product of noble materials that perfectly fits contemporary environments and the needs of modern furniture.

All our carpets are entirely handmade using high-quality noble materials and originate from projects developed in Italy, under the creative direction of architect Paolo Sartori. Today, Sartori is an international brand that sells carpets of outstanding quality and value worldwide and serves as a reference point for Italian-made designer carpets.
