The company FAS Pendezza Srl was founded in 1964 in Villa d'Ogna in the Val Seriana region, driven by the great intuition of Alfonso Pendezza and his brother Davide: to create play tools for adults and children, made from the highest quality raw materials and processed by the best craftsmen according to the Bergamo tradition. Thus were born: FAS foosball tables, table tennis, and billiards, icons of elegance and quality. Basaglia + Rota Nodari – who is behind the designs?

"If there is no interlocutor, there is no design, but artistic and creative craftsmanship. The true strength of a designer is understanding the brand they work with and expressing their creativity in that context. Creativity arises from opportunity. Not the other way around. The pair of architects and designers Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari entered the architectural scene in 1997, founding the Studio Associato that bears their name. With their first project, the "Antennati" collection under the YDF brand, they won an award in the Young & Design competition in 1999, happily realising their strong ability to understand the potential of the client's brand they collaborate with, interpreting its features in the product. There are many forms of collaboration, many completed projects. From recovering environments and buildings of industrial archaeology, creating areas and environments for exhibitions, to an adventure in food design. Winners of the Good Design Award in 2007 for the Boox modular bookcase system, produced by Rexite, Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari have also achieved excellent results in many other fields of architecture and furniture. In 2016, the S'mesh seating family, designed for Diemmebi, was selected by the ADI Design Index for the "Compasso d'Oro" 2018 nomination.
