Kenneth Cobonpue's story as an artist begins in 1986. It was then that the future designer began studies at the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York, of course in the field of applied design. He completed his craft apprenticeship in Europe, in one of the world's art capitals - Florence, and additionally studied at the German Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg.

After a decade of experience in the United States and Europe, Cobonpue returned to his roots - literally and figuratively. He moved again to the Philippines, where he opened his furniture factory. However, his designs show traces of typically Asian design inspired by Zen philosophy, as well as inspirations from European modern and postmodernism.
