The Saladini manufactory offers reliable kitchen accessories with forged blades. Each product features the engraved logo of the manufacturer, which is a confirmation of authenticity and a guarantee of quality.

Marking is done during crafting, when the blade is not yet hardened.

Saladini is very selective in its choice of steel - it mainly uses hardened stainless steel with a high or 100% carbon content.

To manufacture blades, Saladini uses two processes: rolling and forging.

The rolling method is used to create knife blades, cigar cutters, and a certain line of table knives. These blades are cut from steel plates, the thickness of which depends on the intended use of the knife.

A complex production process is undergone by blades forged with a hammer and anvil, which are used for kitchen, table, and collector's knives. Hand forging allows for the creation of appropriate blade shapes, consoles, and tangs, which are placed into the handle.

After marking, both types of blades are hardened and annealed during heat treatment, which, depending on the steel composition, determines the correct hardness level for an optimal cutting edge.

Saladini's tradition dates back to the 15th century – at that time, the first "Master Knifemakers" published its statute. It included goals for protection and a plan for the production and trade of knives. From that generation to the present day, producers follow in the footsteps of their ancestors and create products with the same passion and tradition.
