When and under what circumstances was the company founded?
Glazier Heinrich Arlt, a citizen of northern Bohemia, and his family decided to relocate to Arnstadt after the Second World War. One of the key reasons for this decision was to enable the continuation of the traditional crystal-related trade. Heinrich started a glass processing manufactory in 1947.
The small family business gradually expanded its company, meanwhile, glass production was gradually transformed into beautiful lead glass. The extensive range of Arnstadt Kristall products is made from the highest quality crystals.
Arnstadt brand crystal contains a lead oxide admixture (24%), giving it an exceptionally distinctive shine and appearance.
