Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems entirely detached from the trends that have prevailed worldwide over the years. Its key guiding principle is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these experienced craftsmen.
The founders of the brand firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would cause the loss of identity in the manufactured products. For this reason, the company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are most welcome, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing vision and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife creation are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials - the blades are made of steel, while the handles are made from buffalo, bison, or deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
