The French manufactory Toison d'Or was founded in 1954. It began by producing double-sided wool blankets and scotch blankets in precious and natural materials for the general public. It has established numerous collaborations with fashion designers (Courrèges, Pierre Cardin and Guy Laroche), thus quickly establishing itself as a leader in the elegant blanket market in France.

In 2005, Toision d'Or expanded its range to include beautiful quilts, pillows, as well as fancy bedspreads.

Today, the French manufacturer also offers a complete collection with additional assortments of bedding protections, sheets and duvet covers, mattress toppers and bedding accessories.
