The secrets and techniques of master glassmakers, combined with building collaborations with the most famous Italian and international interior decorators over the years, have traced the successes of many of their lines.

Philosophy and image of the manufactory

Yalos Murano is today a renowned brand in glass production with traditions; a proposal for furniture, style, and design for contemporary living, offering us glass and its multifaceted aspects. The addition of colour and the most innovative lines, admiring the changing and fleeting light reflections of a unique and unrepeatable object, the ability to connect one's personality with the object are the most direct experiences of each proposed creation.

Nomads, yet attached to their roots, the Ferro family, after the terrible plague of 1630 that decimated the local population, including glassmakers, returned to Murano and soon found themselves among the local notables as Deputies of the island, holding this prestigious position 27 times during the 18th century.

Belonging to the local productive and vital elite, the Ferro family became Gastaldi Major of the San Nicolò school, which brings together craftsmen and master glassmakers and directs the activities of the glassworks. Moreover, their coat of arms is engraved twice on the Oselle, a coin minted by the Venetian mint specifically for the Muranese community.

As if representing their dual nature, the Ferro family coat of arms consists of an anchor, a symbol of stability and ties to the territory, and an indispensable tool of the comet during sea journeys and adventures. From Leonardo Ferro, a skilled master, comes the Ferro Florian line, important glassmakers of the late 19th century, prolific and numerous, reaching to the present day, with glassworks bearing their name. The Yalos Murano glassworks, in line with the continuous research and experimentation that have historically distinguished it in the production of artistic glass, proposes a new challenge: Murano glass sheets of various sizes, changing colours, numerous decorations, and unique and precious combinations outside.
