These items are entirely modelled and hand-painted in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza, Italy. The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain with printed textures. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the statue's body. Hairstyles are also occasionally crafted by hand. On the 'biscuit' terracotta, faces, clothes, and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece is finally subjected to further firing called 'third fire'. Any additional details, such as violin strings or tripod stands, are applied at this stage to the finished piece.

With experiences in Capodimonte porcelain, it can proudly be said that since the mid-1980s, Sibania has been a leading company in the porcelain doll production industry. Indeed, since the 1980s, production has been based on their own models of biscuit components for the most important artisan workshops and porcelain doll manufacturing companies in Italy. In 1998, the company began producing figurines, small sculptures mainly depicting children.
