Exquisite Silver/Pearl Gray (Large) Privilege Deco Ballpoint Pen

The art of writing is a primary instrument of knowledge, which is why Montegrappa presents a new collection: Privilege Deco. In 2005, it renewed the appearance of one of its oldest and most classic pen models, Privilege. The new design adorning the Privilege Deco series was inspired by a historical model from the 1930s, belonging to the Montegrappa museum.

We wish to present to you the octagonal shape and precious materials used in the production of the pen, which distinguish this collection, brought to life with new design and a new elegant colour scheme for the finishing parts. Now, the dominant colour is elegant pearl grey. The pattern on the pen's body is crafted using the authentic, rare Guilloche technique, the most traditional artisan technique. To find the origins of the Guilloche technique, one must go back to the 17th century. Although today it is an extremely rare and complex technique, there are still a few artisans who possess this skill. The Guilloche technique is an ancient art used in goldsmithing, allowing the creation of lines with special tools to decorate precious materials such as silver, gold, or platinum.
The imagination of the creators of this line of fountain pens has resulted in very elegant pens, and by using resin finishing in grey, they have become even more refined. The manufacturer has left space on the cap for the pen owner to engrave a personal mark or signature. The clip is finished with the brand's characteristic ball.

The fountain pens are equipped with 18-carat gold nibs, rhodium-plated and with an ebonite feed. They have converters that can be replaced at any time with ink cartridges. This edition represents refined elegance, maintaining the ancient tradition of handcrafted craftsmanship and the excellence for which Montegrappa is known.
