Starting with the production of double-sided woollen blankets and Scottish blankets made from noble and natural materials for the general public. It established numerous collaborations with fashion designers (Courrèges, Pierre Cardin, and Guy Laroche), which quickly cemented its position as a leader in the luxury blanket market in France.

In 2005, Toison d'Or expanded its range to include beautiful duvets, pillows, and also fancy bedspreads.
