The Italian word "Gioiello" refers to a jewel or jewellery. These terms will often be used to describe the image created by new patterns, as with the octagonal Privilege pen. This original form was partly inspired by the prestigious sense of beauty of the 1930s, as well as the collection of pens in the Montegrappa museum. The naturally elegant shape of Privilege has been refined with sterling silver and decorated with new motifs created using a special technique. Original engraving techniques have been applied to all the silver elements of the product. The clip has the same finish as the cap, creating a camouflage effect. The range includes four designs: Arctic with icy reflections; Bark with a grainy tree bark texture; Peacock - decoration resembling the eyes of a peacock's tail; Wave - designed in the pattern of a water surface stirred by the wind. The Privilege Gioiello line features fountain pens and rollerball pens in a limited quantity of 500 pieces.

Privilege Gioiello Arctic Silver Fountain Pen Limited Edition has been designed with an ice reflection pattern, showcasing the "deep stamping" technique without joints. The Privilege Montegrappa Gioiello Arctic Silver pen is one of the few made using this sterling silver technique. Initially inspired by the 1930 model, which was part of the Montegrappa Privilege collection, the pen heralded new engraving techniques and was enhanced with silver and adorned with motifs – using special techniques to present carved patterns. This technique had never been used before. Each day, Montegrappa's skilled craftsmen can produce only two or three pens daily.  Privilege Montegrappa Gioiello Arctic Silver Fountain Pen is available in various nib sizes with 18k gold.
