History – in our own words!

When we were children, we were placed in front of a lathe. Day after day, year after year, this lathe succeeded in the workshop.

Today, we are known worldwide. But we haven't changed the way we work. We can't, it's just who we are. We like things well made. Do you know what it means to be well made? It's something you've thought about, designed, forged, and built right here before your eyes.

These are products that don't care about prevailing fashion, that don't change a hundred times, that last a hundred years. There are those who buy pieces from around the world, assemble them, and sell them as made in Italy. There are those who pay a designer to be trendy. There are those who change their path with every gust of wind. We are not among them. Every day we wake up and look at its beauty. It is a mirror of the sky. We have ancient roots. We have hills and villages that inspire artists. For centuries.

Behind us, above us, on a granite spur, is the sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. From here, you can admire the view of the entire lake, then Mottarone, the Alps, and in front of us Sacro Monte di San Giulio with 20 chapels adorned with Morazzone frescoes. Right here, in the middle of the lake, is the Island with a Basilica built in the 4th century, rebuilt in the year 1000. It is important to surround yourself with beauty and create beauty while protecting nature. We have always done so.

That is why we meet many international certifications, including the most stringent in the world: certification for the USA and California, which require completely non-toxic products. The brass we love and use contains no lead. Our taps do not release nickel and zinc into the water you drink. Nicolazzi S.p.A. has been operating for over 50 years in the sanitary fittings industry, where it independently and originally researches and designs its products in accordance with international regulations.

The adoption of a Quality Management System is a decision by the Board of Nicolazzi S.p.A. and has become a fundamental strategic element in the company's development.

In fact, the Board believes that it is necessary to demonstrate to external bodies (Clients, Suppliers, Certifying Bodies, Institutional Authorities) its ability to consistently and reliably deliver products that fully meet:

- the requirements specified by the Client

- the requirements specified by Nicolazzi S.p.A.

- the requirements dictated by specific sector standards and/or mandatory regulations

The Board of Nicolazzi S.p.A. also believes that it is essential to increase Client satisfaction through the timely and effective implementation of the Quality Management System by continuously improving it through monitoring and measuring identified processes.
