Rosebuds are a charming interior decoration motif, which is why Odegard Carpets created the Rosa model. The product is made from wool with a silk blend at a density of 100 knots.
The OC brand adheres to the highest quality standards. This is due not only to the selection of the best materials but also to a strong ecological awareness that influences the entire product creation process, from design to the finished product.
The company began its operations in the late 1980s, revolutionising the world of weaving craftsmanship. It uses Himalayan wool from the fleece of local sheep. These sheep graze at altitudes over 14,000 feet above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This unique property makes the brand's rugs more resistant to dirt.
The beautiful colours result from manual processing and dyeing. Inspirations for the rugs include Venetian materials, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many patterns are drawn from the shapes of tropical leaves or the hues of the sun setting over the towering peaks of the Himalayas.
All products are handmade from selected silk yarns and Himalayan wool. The dyeing process is entirely natural, using organic materials such as nuts, roots, or saffron, maintaining the highest quality.
