The Zafferano company was established in 2001 by Venetian designer Federico de Majo. The founder has always been connected to the glass industry. Today, he designs products for Zafferano, focusing particularly on research and the development of new shapes.

Thanks to the experience gained over the years alongside master glassmakers and a passion for glass and design, Federico de Majo has created collections that quickly stand out for their originality and innovative processes on an international level.

Poldina is a collection of cordless rechargeable fixtures, comprising table lamps, floor lamps, a lamp with a hanger, a pendant lamp, and wall lights. The "touch" control on the head allows for switching on/off, dimming, and selecting the light's colour temperature. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (except for finishes in gold, silver, and copper).

The electronic control system monitors the remaining autonomy and ensures a constant light output until the battery is depleted. Charging is therefore optimised and always performed correctly. All models are equipped with a contact charging base.
