For Ettore Bugatti, building cars was simply a matter of seeking perfection, an art that had to be presented aesthetically. The Type 35 began an era where Bugatti became the most renowned brand in motorsports for about seven years.

With the "Nation Colour Project", we aim to bring the commemoration of the colourful racing scenes of the 1920s and 1930s into your living room. Regulations required that each Grand Prix participant's car be decorated in the designated colours of their homeland. This model is finished in the official colour of Spain.

It was motorsport-hungry France that organised the first "Grand Prix" race in 1906. After the end of World War I, races known as "Grand Prix" began to be held in other countries. With the growing popularity of the "Grand Prix", it quickly became synonymous with international car racing. However, black and white photos in contemporary archives do not do justice to all the colourful racing cars of the 1920s and 1930s.

In fact, because the rules stated that each participating team had to have their car(s) in the distinctive colour of their country, the starting grid was usually a very bright, multicoloured scene. With this in mind, CMC focused on the Bugatti T35 Grand Prix Model, the most dominant racing car of its time, to showcase the diversity of existing country-specific colours. What you are looking at is a very detailed, precise replica, where the main goal is the correct colour pattern.

The Bugatti T35 dominated Grand Prix racing like no other racing car of its era. Based on this car, we would like to present to you the official colours of the country from those decades.

The floor covering is laid in the interior and in the boot. The replicas feature the smallest details in accordance with the original plans of the vehicle.
