The tradition of creating pewter products in Italy dates back to the early Middle Ages. This craft was primarily specialised by the inhabitants of Lombardy. It was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, along with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He began by creating mainly pewter tableware, as well as various decorations. The exceptional craftsmanship and artistic eye meant that the products emerging from the modest shop quickly gained popularity. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large factory, and today the company is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio's children. The company still retains its family character and continues to focus on hand production using methods that border on craft and art. This is why their unique decorations are appreciated worldwide.
