In harmony and without contradiction, the company has managed to combine the value of handcrafting with the precision of the most advanced wood processing technologies. The Bernardinello company, founder of the BBelle Italia brand, is located in Cerea, a few kilometres from Verona, in an area renowned for its tradition of elegant classic furniture since the early 20th century. Founded in 1975, the company now operates over an area of approximately 11,000 square metres, divided between a warehouse of raw furniture ready for shipment, a building dedicated to storing raw materials, finished furniture and polished furniture, and finally a laboratory covering 3,500 square metres.

The Bernardinello company is a leader in Italy in the production of classic-style furniture, and since January 2010, with its own brand "BBELLE ITALIA", it has started offering its collections on foreign markets as well. New collections with modern and contemporary tastes have joined the classic collections. All our products are made exclusively in our factory, and we are responsible for all stages of processing.

The quality of our creations is guaranteed by the experience and expertise of our skilled staff. We pay particular attention to the selection of raw materials from which all our models are made. Finally, a very important stage that should not be overlooked is the process of finishing and lacquering the furniture, where ancient techniques blend with the search for ever more innovative products that enhance the quality of finishes with the utmost respect for the environment.

The main processing stages that lead to wood becoming a Bbelle piece of furniture are carried out directly in our factory and are overseen by key employees, as is always the case with all the furniture we produce.

Design - The Birth of an Idea

Ideas are sketched and then developed using sophisticated design programmes. This first and essential phase of teamwork is fundamental; every single proposal is evaluated, discussed, and then designed, checking its feasibility with 3D programmes to assess the final product outcome. Also, in this initial phase, the best solutions are studied to meet the specific requirements of clients, those bespoke, complex projects for entire environments, BBelle never fails to meet its clients' expectations.

Selection and Cutting of Raw Materials - Quality from the First Step.

The wood used for production is first subjected to careful selection; only the best are cut to obtain the various pieces that make up the product. The choice of wood is the first step towards quality. Only experts who skilfully oversee each phase can select the part of the trunk that guarantees quality and durability for our creations. After selecting and cutting the wood, we move on to the next phase.

Inlay Work - Where the Identity of Each Piece of Furniture is Born

Inlay is a type of decoration achieved through an incredibly fascinating processing technique, based on the harmonious contrast of different shades of wood or veneer, mother-of-pearl, or any material that can give furniture a particular identity. Inlay involves hollowing out the wooden surface and inserting an essence of a different colour or material to form decorative motifs. This intervention should be entrusted to an inlayer or a carpenter specialising in drawing, as this process requires great sensitivity and proven experience. The inlay can define the character of the furniture and make it unique.

Laser Cutting and Laser Engraving

Great technology for very precise interventions. The use of laser technology allows us to create inlays and details on the surface of our collection's furniture with extraordinary precision. Thanks to the advanced technological machines we have, we can create valuable processes that enrich every environment with uniqueness and personality.

High-resolution engraving possible with a laser is unattainable by other methods, which is why we are equipped with machines for this type of processing, allowing us to guarantee very high precision in processing.

Milling and Sanding - Furniture Profile

This processing stage allows us, through the use of modern milling machines, to quickly obtain semi-finished products from which our furniture will then be composed. Milling is a mechanical processing process that changes the profile of the detail and is carried out using numerically controlled devices. Providing the most advanced machinery for this type of operation guarantees our company speed and high production capacity. Sanding is a complex operation carried out using special tools. The aim of this phase is to prepare the wood for painting and indeed has a significant impact on the final effect. During this process, the wood surface is significantly smoothed to eliminate traces of previous processing and prepare the material for subsequent phases.

Assembly

In the assembly phase, the various parts that make up the furniture are joined together. This moment is truly delicate and must be executed solidly to achieve a harmonious and stable object. Our staff specialise in assembling all types of furniture, smooth or carved, rounded or profiled. Each section must be precisely connected to the other; only in this way will the cabinet be fully functional once assembled.
