Flax fibres, considered the most valuable among natural fibres, are obtained from the stem of a small plant (Linum Usitatissimum), about one metre tall, with small blue flowers, making it the oldest and most widespread fabric. Flax fibre has high strength and is hygroscopic, meaning it tends to absorb moisture very well. Flax fibres are actually hollow, transporting air and moisture in a completely natural way; making it the most suitable fibre for summer wear, providing a cooling sensation when in contact with the skin. Additionally, linen is 100% biodegradable and recyclable, making it a model fibre as it only requires rainwater and does not need pesticides. Camel wool is also used here, a valuable material since ancient times due to its important characteristics.
