Decoration: Sicilian Cart
Extrapolation of motifs found in the western Sicilian cart, reinterpreted in a contemporary tone. It features numerous geometric patterns in bright and vibrant colours, which, when combined, create a texture of colourful geometries, predominantly in yellows, reds, blues, and oranges.

Each piece is created with care and love, with attention to detail; and the method of work is part of the identity of the manufactory, which they will never betray. Fundamental to them is the continuous search for new stimuli, original harmonies, broadening horizons, through artistic expressions that are never banal and always experimental.

The brand also stands out for the quality of the raw materials it works with, such as stoneware suitable for tableware. Every day they work to achieve the main goal: to put all creativity at the service of others, to realise their desires through their artistic sense.

FROM EARTH TO MAJOLICA

Each work is born from a pencil sketch, which is a translation of the artist's thoughts. From there, the shaping of the object transforms the image of imagination into reality. Skilled hands use clay and water and can almost magically create the desired shapes. Left to dry for several days under special conditions, the object reaches what is known as "leather-hard" and will thus be ready for the first firing at around 1000°C.

Terracotta is then ready for decoration. This is the phase of the production process where the artist gives their all. Often, it's about giving space to imagination and colour.

The production process concludes with a second firing at around 920°C, which gives brilliance to the colours and fixes the paints over the centuries. Sometimes, due to the sheen, a third firing is necessary.
