Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems entirely autonomous from the trends that have dominated the world throughout its years of operation. Its most important value is the commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian craftsmen.

The founders of the brand firmly reject the idea of mass production using random labour, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the knives offered. Therefore, the company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are very much welcome, provided they bring elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand long-term quality tests.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialised groups of workers but are often carried out from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials - the blades are made of steel, while the handles are made from buffalo, bison, and deer horns, as well as 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners suggest that their creations, although intended for everyday use, should be treated with the respect that guarantees their longevity. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artefact.
