A resident of northern Bohemia, Heinrich Arlt, along with his family, decided to move to Arnstadt just after the Second World War. One of the main reasons for this decision was to enable the continuation of traditional trade and to establish his own company dedicated to the refinement of crystal in 1947.

Over the years, the small family workshop became a well-prospering enterprise, thus in current times it is a respected seller of crystal products on the international market.

• The Arnstadt Kristall range is made from the highest quality crystal. After meticulous shaping, masterpieces are created, including elegant vases, mugs, alcohol accessories, and unique bowls made from genuine crystal containing 24% lead oxide.
• In present times, the family company excels in the glass field through the combination of well-trained engineers and the application of modern technology to produce avant-garde glass ornaments. The first export relations took place in Italy, Canada, and the USA.

The facility is no longer located in Arnstadt itself but has been moved north of the city and continues to operate today under the patronage of the founder's daughter, Gerda Heller.
