Prof Office was born in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family-run industrial reality that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply rooted in the Italian north-eastern furniture district. Over these twenty years, Prof's economic path of development and growth has allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the spread of Italian design and high quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product offering.
Starting with designer executive collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows it to offer complete and customised furnishing solutions for every workplace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the province of Treviso, 70 kilometres north of Venice, in one of the most important industrial furniture districts in Europe. It occupies a total area of approximately 8,700 square metres, of which 3,600 are covered. The plant, specialising in the production of office furniture, is equipped to work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehouse, and shipping of finished products. The headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for receiving clients, and a showroom of over 400 square metres, showcasing all exclusive office furniture collections. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 square metres was carried out, of which 640 square metres were allocated for production, 330 for new offices, and 830 for the new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The company produces exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in the province of Treviso and always bases its identity on the utmost values of respect for people, land, and materials. Very strong local roots and an innate "know-how" ability, which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and consolidate its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organisation is geared towards "just in time", which allows combining elements such as reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network develops in Italy, mainly in the affiliated production district, where the vast majority of raw material and semi-finished product suppliers are located. Products are entirely designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of constant excellence.

DESIGN

At Prof, every piece of furniture results from the ability to understand the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy and is expressed through the internal Design Department working closely with external designers and is constantly updated with technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and produced in Italy, in full compliance with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTATION
Prof provides comprehensive design and consultancy services, including analysis of client requests, layout study with targeted and personalised furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMISATION

Prof can propose and execute a personalised service on standard production models: from the production of oversized elements, through the search for new materials and finishes, to the creation of samples and prototypes. Thanks to its production versatility, over the years Prof has developed specialist knowledge in the field of non-standard consumables, from small and medium projects to excellent personalised creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and complaints, Prof maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical and after-sales support services along with full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof's wide production flexibility allows, in addition to serial production, the realisation of projects defined to order, tailored to the specific needs of the client. The Design Department is able to support the client or designer in the development and production of unique products, both in functional and aesthetic solutions, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage of implementation: a project-oriented approach, with careful selection of materials and the greatest attention to detail, culminating in construction, step by step, until final installation.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to the growing competitiveness of international markets by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, rationalising internal production processes, Prof obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certificate in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, providing the opportunity for increasingly concrete business objectives. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum expertise in the design and production of office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 boards in accordance with European formaldehyde emission regulations for both raw materials and melamine.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, guaranteeing that semi-finished products are created through the reuse of wood in a production process that does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certificate in 2012 confirms Prof's concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, which regulates the impact of production activities on the environment, striving to systematically improve it. In 2015, during the same period as the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduced a new green mark to confirm and identify its commitment to environmental sustainability as an integral part of its operations and production growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its "green" strategy, confirming its values of "sustainability" and "responsibility", by choosing a new electricity operator (Dolomiti Energia) sourced 100% from renewable sources.

ECO-PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimising environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machine park using biodegradable cardboard, allowing for individual packaging training. Optimisation for specific products allows for a significant reduction in packaging costs, storage, and consequently waste for disposal. To improve waste management, several separate collection points for post-production waste have been established within the company. All are stored in special containers, which are then subjected to recycling processes.
