MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 from the intuition of its founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly transformed and by the 1980s had adopted its current corporate character. Starting with ceramic materials, they gradually developed lines of interior furnishing accessories, paying particular attention to colour combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with the creativity of details and the manual skill of execution.

After the untimely death of Paolo in 1992, his son Simone took over the reins of the company and guided its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramics/fabrics and heralds success thanks to precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of 'made in Italy'.

The 2000s brought the consolidation of distribution in all countries worldwide and the beginning of a path of organisational and managerial evolution, which will lead the company to face new challenges of digitisation, up to the creation of its own archive of three-dimensional models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, the firstborn Vittoria joined the company as head of communication and quality, to testify to the further generational evolution. Thus, the brand reaches the present with the wealth of fifty years of experience, in which artisanal production and management concept are made available to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
