The French company Toison d'Or was founded in 1954. Starting with the production of double-sided woollen and Scottish blankets made from noble and natural materials for the general public. It established numerous collaborations with fashion designers (Courrèges, Pierre Cardin, and Guy Laroche), which quickly cemented its position as a leader in the stylish blanket market in France.
In 2005, Toison d'Or expanded its range to include exceptional duvets, pillows, and also fancy bedspreads.
