Description
No other Ferrari has captivated like the 250 GTO from the 1960s. With its arrival, an awe-inspiring classic was born. Thanks to its sporting achievements and profound elegance, the 250 GTO is practically on everyone's lips, as if it were a cult car today.
In March 1961, people at Ferrari started to get anxious. This was due to the impending introduction of the new Jaguar E-Type at the Geneva Motor Show. The car was seen as a serious competitor, and Ferrari was very concerned about its dominance in car racing.
Enzo Ferrari reacted immediately and commissioned Giotto Bizzarrini to design a new GT class car. Bizzarrini decided to work with the 250GT/SWB, a model that had proven itself in tough tests. It was quite clear that few changes, if any, would be made to the chassis, while the wheelbase would remain the same at 2400 mm. The main modifications that followed concerned the rear axle, body aerodynamics, and centre of gravity. Additionally, an improved gear transmission was provided.
The car received homologation with the new type designation 250 GTO, where "O" stands for the Italian word "omologate" (homologated, certified). However, due to the well-known "internal coup" against Enzo Ferrari, several GTO designers, including Bizzarrini, had to leave the company.
His successor was Mauro Foghieri, who began collaborating with bodywork designer Sergio Scaglietti and completed the development project. The new GTO had a stunningly beautiful body and was presented to the international press in Maranello in February 1962.
The racing debut of the GTO took place during the 12 Hours of Sebring 1962 in the USA. Its driver duo, Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien, won the GT class and finished second overall. Since then, the winning streak continued; Ferrari won the constructors' championship consecutively in 1962, 1963, and 1964. A total of 39 GTO vehicles were built, including three equipped with a 4-litre engine.
Welcome to the replica of the 250 GTO characterised by absolutely extraordinary craftsmanship by CMC. You have the option to choose between silver, yellow, blue, and red finishes according to your preferences.

The manufactory uses high-quality materials to fully preserve the "faithfulness to the original" of a given car model.
The company focuses on all major and popular collector scales: 1:12, 1:18, 1:24, 1:43. The first model produced by the company was in 1:24 scale - the iconic Mercedes-Benz SSK from 1930. It was built in 1995 and won many prestigious awards.
Each individual element is carefully assembled by hand. The instruments on the dashboard are mounted separately. The seats are covered with fabric or leather. The floor covering is laid in the interior and boot. The replicas feature the smallest details in accordance with the original plans of the given vehicle.
