Luigi Bigoloni founded the company Manital in 1990 in Vobarno, a small town in the province of Brescia, a region known worldwide for metalworking and craftsmanship. From the very beginning, Bigoloni laid the foundations of the company's philosophy: a passion for design, attention to detail, and the pursuit of innovation.

The 1990s provided an excellent opportunity to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies for the production of handles, by introducing new production systems centred around robotics and automation, a semi-automatic assembly system, and a computerised system to support warehouse management.

The application of state-of-the-art industrial technologies allows for perfection in the production cycle, waste reduction, and quality optimisation. However, the manual craftsmanship that represents the cultural heritage of the Valleys of Brescia remains a part of Manital's production.

BRASS

Eco-friendly, thanks to its full recyclability. Durable over time due to its excellent corrosion resistance. Brass is an alloy consisting of 60% copper, a material that is 100% recyclable and naturally antibacterial.

ZINC ALLOY

The zinc processing involves reduced energy consumption and minimal emissions into the atmosphere. Moreover, it can be repeatedly melted down and reused without losing its original properties, and any waste produced in the manufacturing process is fully recyclable.

FINISHES

The Italian manufacturer Manital offers a variety of galvanic and PVD finishes. The galvanic finishing process coats the base metal of the handle with a different type of metal, making it more resistant and durable. Galvanic finishes are offered in colours: chrome, nickel, bronze, brass. PVD technology, or Physical Vapor Deposition, is achieved by evaporating metals in a vacuum and depositing particles onto the handle, providing strong aesthetic, technical, and ecological properties.

The rich production history of the region allows Manital to manufacture handles of the highest quality while shortening the supply chain. “Made in Italy” is not only synonymous with quality but also an environmentally sustainable choice with local production.
