The Cult Chaos pen, a limited edition, is the essence of passion, technology, and exquisite design. From the first moment, Chaos evokes the excellence of limited edition pens from 1995-2007. Uncompromising excellence, perfect detail, craftsmanship finesse, and incredible expression place Chaos at the very top of the finest limited edition pens.
The theme and design were inspired by Sylvester Stallone and his latest film: "The Expendables". In collaboration with Montegrappa artists, the actor and brand ambassador turned to classical art to express his vision of chaos. To ensure the language of expression is elegant and not exaggerated, they looked to the direction of 16th-century artists. Albrecht Durer is another artist who influenced the design of the "Chaos" pen. This German painter, printmaker, and theorist from Nuremberg was widely regarded as the most important artist of the Renaissance in Northern Europe. His most famous works include the woodcut of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He is known worldwide as a master of small forms due to the small size of his engravings. The last to influence the designers of the "Chaos" pen through their own creativity were the Pollaiuolo brothers. The Italian brothers, who as sculptors, painters, engravers, and goldsmiths were involved in numerous projects, and their collaboration was signed with a joint signature. Their most famous ventures include the altar in the chapel of the Cardinal of Portugal in San Miniato al Monte and the Martyrdom of St. Sebastian. Everything they created together and separately had a significant impact on the era in which they lived.
Sylvester Stallone explains: My idea of Chaos is a sense of the Renaissance, where things were simpler and perhaps more sublime, set in contrast to our current technological society.

The "Chaos" pen is crafted from precious materials and produced in a limited quantity. The pen's body is made of black pearl celluloid covered with sterling silver or 18-karat gold. The pen's elements are finished by the experienced hands of Montegrappa craftsmen. They feature antique finishes with accents of translucent enamels in yellow and red colors, symbolizing fire. The design is characterized by the confrontation of life and death, formerly represented by early forms of life on Earth: reptiles such as snakes and lizards, or skulls. Alongside the striking pen is a prominently featured clip in the shape of a sword, adorned with a fist and skull.

The "Chaos" fountain pen is the first in the "Cult" collection and is available in a limited quantity of 1,000 fountain pens and 912 rollerball pens made of sterling silver, representing the founding date of Montegrappa – the year 1912. Additionally, this collection includes 100 fountain pens and 100 rollerball pens made of 18-karat gold, and 10 fountain pens and rollerball pens made of 18-karat gold with gemstones, intended for enthusiasts of the cinema legend and Montegrappa.
