The Montegrappa company was established in the 19th century and has developed into one of the most successful manufacturers in the world. Now, at the beginning of the 21st century, it is obvious that Montegrappa wishes and intends to continue following contemporary trends and adapting its product range to them. Drawing inspiration from many sources, it expands the company's design horizons. These include influences from ancient art, architecture, icons, contemporary culture, as well as inspiration from original jewellery. The motto of the craftsmen working for the brand is pride in their work – a factor that seems to be disappearing in mass production.
Micra is the ultimate expression of luxury and the smallest writing instrument from the Montegrappa brand. The collection of four models (fountain pen, rollerball pen, ballpoint pen, and mechanical pencil) are a perfect combination of tradition and innovation.
The fountain pen with a distinctive octagonal barrel and cap made of precious resin in pink. The clip and rings are made of sterling silver. The clip ends with the brand's characteristic ball, making it easy to attach. The nib is made of 18K gold, engraved, rhodium-plated, and two-toned. The ring features 21 diamonds (colour H, clarity VS2-SI1, total weight 0.27 carats). The pen has a filling system with interchangeable cartridges. A writing instrument dedicated to women, in a beautiful maple wood box.
