Vicenza, the capital of Italian jewellery, brings to mind Montegrappa, which in its 100-year history pays the same attention to detail and employs the same craftsmen who are artists in their trade. This defines the beauty of jewellery. Therefore, Montegrappa is honoured to showcase new engraving techniques and innovative hand-engraved models from the Privilege family - "Privilege Gioiello".

The Italian word "Gioiello" refers to a jewel or jewellery. These terms will often be used to describe the image created by the new patterns, just like with the octagonal Privilege pen. This original form was partly inspired by the prestigious sense of beauty of the 1930s, as well as the collection of pens in the Montegrappa museum. The inherently elegant shape of Privilege has been enhanced with sterling silver and decorated with new motifs created using a special technique. Original engraving techniques have been applied to all the silver elements of the product. The clip has the same finish as the cap, creating a camouflage effect. The range includes four designs: Arctic with icy reflections; Bark with a grainy tree bark texture; Peacock - decoration reminiscent of the eyes of a peacock's tail; Wave - designed to resemble the surface of water stirred by the wind. The Privilege Gioiello line features fountain pens and rollerball pens in a limited quantity of 500 pieces.

Peacock, engraved spirals reminiscent of the majestic eye of a peacock's tail, showcasing the "deep engraving" technique - without joints. The Privilege Montegrappa Gioiello Peacock Silver pen is one of the few made using this sterling silver technique. Initially inspired by a 1930 model, which was part of the Montegrappa Privilege collection, the pen heralded new engraving techniques and was enhanced with silver and adorned with motifs – using special techniques presenting carved patterns. This technique had never been used before. Each day, Montegrappa's skilled craftsmen can produce only two or three pens a day.  Privilege Gioiello Peacock Silver Pens are available in various nib sizes made of 18k gold.
