We are delighted to present another limited edition of exceptional writing instruments, dedicated to writing and its crucial role in the development of humanity. These small masterpieces of craftsmanship with unique and sophisticated symbolism honour the art of writing as a means of conveying knowledge (from Greek, sophia) and the development of human thought.

The cap features a depiction of the Rosetta Stone, a script of great archaeological significance. Its surface displays text written in three different language systems (hieroglyphs, pictographic script, and classical Greek). The decoration of the cap is further complemented by other symbols drawn from the civilisation of ancient Egypt: examples of hieroglyphs and pictographic script, the image of the Sphinx, pyramids, and the depiction of the god of knowledge, to whom the people of ancient Egypt attributed the invention of writing.

At first glance, the design of the barrel pays homage to the love of knowledge, widely spread in ancient Greece. The symbolism is drawn from Raphael's famous fresco "The School of Athens", against which philosophers are visible: Aristotle, Plato, and the great mathematician and thinker - Pythagoras. The surface of the Sophia Limited Edition barrel is also enriched with some of the 4000 characters representing all the alphabets of the world, whose images cover the walls of the new Library of Alexandria.

The cap and barrel of these exceptional instruments are made entirely of sterling silver or yellow gold (depending on the pen version), and then decorated using the highly exclusive technique of hot hand engraving, where applications of yellow gold and rose gold (or rose and white gold) magnificently showcase numerous details and hidden symbolism.
