Description
Montegrappa, a proud symbol of Italian style and creativity, through the new series from the limited edition writing instruments collection "Emozioni in Musica" aims to honor the world of opera. The collection was inspired by costumes, scenography, the libretto, and above all, the emotions emanating from arias on opera stages worldwide. Exquisite materials and the craftsmanship of goldsmith artists have left a unique mark of the emotions associated with opera and the Montegrappa brand on each writing instrument in the collection. Verdi's "La Traviata," the most performed opera in the world, inspired Montegrappa to create a new series of writing instruments under the name "Emozioni in Musica" (emotions in music). The strong personality of the opera's main character, Violetta Valery, is reflected in almost every detail of the collection.
The incredible character of Violetta, the opera's heroine, is precisely depicted on the pen's body. Her face is crafted in gold (18K). The cap's top is adorned with a camellia flower, which Violetta always wore in her attire (part of her dress) to highlight her beautiful face.
The delicately contoured cap is decorated with a red celluloid ring, which in the more precious version is crafted as a diadem with 12 diamonds. The clip features typical 18th-century ornamentation from the period in which the opera is set. The technique engraving known as low-relief (from English bas-relief) was used for the camellia decorations on the body. In the center of the body, between the decorations, the extraordinary face of Violetta is depicted. In the Silver version, this decoration was created using the engraving method with a burin. In the gold and gold with diamonds versions, the hot enamel technique was used. An ancient technique that only a few artists worldwide can execute. Extraordinary skill is required to apply it flawlessly.
Montegrappa chose 18kt yellow gold for this collection. The rest of the pen is made of celluloid characterized by a red color, which has always been associated with passion. The 18K gold nib - yellow gold with white gold embellishments in this precious version - is decorated with the initials "V.V." representing Violetta Valery. Each writing instrument in this series includes decorative packaging reminiscent of 18th-century opera curtains. The entire series is crafted with attention to every minute detail by world-class master craftsmen.
The detailed craftsmanship ensures comfort of use and satisfaction with such an original and luxurious product, which the limited Montegrappa collections undoubtedly are. When choosing office accessories, we should consider functionality but also the appearance of the item, which significantly impacts the quality of our work.
