M205 EF Moonstone fountain pen

The magical grey colour evokes moonlight and shimmers as soon as the writing instrument comes into contact with daylight. A special combination of materials achieves this unique effect and creates more than one shade of grey. The Classic 205 Moonstone series will be available as a fountain pen with a differential piston mechanism and a ballpoint pen with a push mechanism.

The origins of Pelikan date back to chemist Carl Hornemann, who on 28 April 1838 presented his clients with an offer of oil paints, watercolours, and the so-called Pelikan archive – the foundation of the company's production line, from which the world-renowned brand developed. The German manufacturer specialises in producing luxury writing instruments.

Decades of experience, specially trained staff, and the utmost care at every stage of the production process ensure that each product is solidly crafted and unique. Depending on the model, the nibs are made of 14 or 18-carat gold. Additionally, they are sometimes rhodium-plated to achieve a silver sheen. The decoration on the nib is typical for each model.
