In this oil painting on canvas, the painter Ciccone draws inspiration from the Neapolitan school of painting from the early 17th century, one of whose main representatives was Giovan Battista Ruoppolo, a renowned author of "posing nature" compositions—primarily fruits and vegetables, but less frequently fish. The painting features a composition of vine shoots, black and white grapes, apples, and peaches. The warm colour tones are beautiful.
