The inspiration for the "Extra" series pens was a Montegrappa model from the 1930s. The series was created to satisfy the tastes of those who love precious items with classic shapes and original colours and patterns.

Extra 1930 Turtle Brown is a new colour proposal for the well-known classic collection. The "Extra 1930" series perfectly combines technological innovation with classic aesthetics and appearance. The colours of the celluloid bodies, brown inspired by models belonging to the Montegrappa Museum. This series includes fountain and rollerball pens with gold embellishments, featuring an 18-carat gold nib and an ebonite reservoir, available only in brown. The rollerball pen has a body and cap made of high-quality celluloid in deep brown with unique white flashes. The cap is topped with the company's logo, 1912 in a laurel wreath. The clip and rings are made of gold. The clip ends with the brand's characteristic ball, making it easy to attach. The ring at the base of the cap is decorated with Greek symbols. The pen has an extremely efficient, velvety black ink refill, with a traditional piston filling system. The pen is placed in an ash wood box with an included replica of the inkwell from the year of the original edition, with an ebonite closure.
