Every item produced by Sibania is absolutely unique, both in the craftsmanship of each piece and in the unrivalled technique that makes imitation difficult. These items are entirely modelled and hand-painted in our workshop in the province of Vicenza, Italy. The clothing consists of thin sheets of porcelain with printed textures. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the statue's body. Hairstyles are also occasionally crafted by hand. On the 'biscuit' terracotta, faces, clothing, and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; The piece is ultimately subjected to further firing known as the 'third fire'. Any additional details, such as violin strings or wasp stands, are applied at this stage to the finished piece.

From porcelain paste to production, the entire process is fully developed in the workshops in Isola Vicentina, where skilled craftsmen, designers, and painters meticulously refine each figurine and give each face its own expression. Inspired by the stylistic and technical features of traditional Capodimonte porcelain craftsmanship, Sibania has been producing porcelain since 1980. Building on this tradition, characterised by exceptional manual skills, the company strives to introduce continuous innovation while maintaining unchanged craftsmanship and Italian artisanry as a reference point.

The manufactory places great emphasis on the centuries-old tradition of the artisan workshop with precise material research, and one of their goals is continuous innovation of the product with respect for human health: using only non-toxic materials, free from lead, cadmium, and other compounds hazardous to health. With experience in Capodimonte porcelain, it can proudly be said that since the mid-1980s, Sibania has been a leading company in the production of porcelain dolls. Indeed, since the 1980s, production has been based on their own models of biscuit components for the most important artisan workshops and porcelain doll manufacturers in Italy. In 1998, the company began producing figurines, small sculptures that mainly depict children. On one hand, constantly remembering the productive finishing and decoration techniques acquired during Capodimonte experiences, and on the other, introducing new stylistic and technical methods. The unique and specific techniques used by Sibania, as well as the widespread use of manual skills, allow us to say that their works are unique.

These romantic figurines aim to be a representation of the world, a world of childhood, full of emotions and evoking feelings in those who come into contact with it; believing that the purity of porcelain makes it the most suitable material for the artistic representation of childhood innocence and purity.
