HELENA WOOD ART is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of furniture and game boards with over 30 years of experience in the field of wooden craftsmanship. In 1987, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Davut Kazar, a facility was launched to create the mosaic and mother-of-pearl sector. Initially operating as a general partnership until 1998, it then transformed into a family business. Today, Helena proudly produces a large collection of elegant products in a closed area of 14,000 m². The brand also fulfills custom orders and produces special projects for individual clients. What is wooden mosaic and inlaid mother-of-pearl?

The art of wooden mosaic involves combining different types of wood; walnut, beech, lemon, olive, rose, mahogany, and other trees. Cutting these pieces into linear segments creates geometric heads of each piece. In an artistic order, the brand combines these pieces to form one thick beautiful head. The thick piece of wood is cut horizontally into round slices. These slices are inlaid onto the product, giving it a unique appearance. Additionally, inlays of mother-of-pearl, silver, and brass strings embellish these items. Mother-of-pearl is hand-cut and matched piece by piece and elegantly inlaid onto the items.
