The history of IL PARALUME MARINA was born in 1987, when the Ferronato-Simoncello couple founded a small family business based on a shared passion for decorative lighting.

Over the years, their sons Thomas and Simone have given the impetus, respectively to the commercial internationalisation of the product worldwide and to the high technical level of the design of the lighting bodies themselves. In the years that followed, their work elevated PARALUME MARINA to an international signature, and the brand became synonymous with dedication and creativity combined with an excellent degree of craftsmanship exclusively Made in Italy.

Production is based on ancient brass casting techniques, Italian crystal, Murano glass blowing and the unique style of lampshades sewn by hand by Ms Marina's workshop. Authentic Swarovski crystal complements the sparkling brilliance of these unique pieces. Each creation is handmade according to the client's needs.

The completely artisanal production and the use of refined techniques make each item unique. It is obtained by melting in special furnaces at high temperatures, above 1400 °, using the highest quality raw materials, obtaining a product with more than 24% PbO, which gives it an undeniable brightness and transparency. The processing of the crystals is done by hand; it is mouth-blown and the engravings are made entirely by hand, making each item an "object of art".
