BATMAN Montegrappa Fountain Pen/Watch/Cufflinks Set

Montegrappa has prepared a special collection for Batman fans, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, paying tribute to elements of popular culture as part of Montegrappa’s Cult Collection. It is an honour and a great joy that Montegrappa's craftsmen can present writing instruments and accessories commemorating one of the greatest comic book superheroes of all time: Batman.

He has many names: The Dark Knight, The Caped Crusader, The World’s Greatest Detective. Batman is proof that you don't need superpowers to be a superhero. Montegrappa has produced 1939 rollerball pens in the “Batman” collection. This number signifies the year of the character's first appearance. All parts of the rollerball pen are made from aluminium with black anodised finishes, except for the clip and decorative rings, which are made from ruthenium-plated brass. This choice of materials provides a shade of grey, reminiscent of the original Batman costume. The body is adorned with engraved images of bats in flight.

The first 500 pieces have been made available as part of a set, which also includes cufflinks and a watch. Rollerball pens numbered from 501 to 1939 are intended for individual sale.

Based on Montegrappa’s watches in the NeroUno line, the Swiss-made Ronda quartz movement is used here, housed in a 42mm steel case, water-resistant to 5 atm. The case is finished with black PVD, with six screws securing the watch. Embodying all the mystery that the Dark Knight holds, fascinating generation after generation, the watch is made in black, with flying bats adorning the case and watch face. At the 12 o'clock position, there are oval Batman insignias made of nickel. The same material is used for the numbers 3, 6, and 9, the dots marking the other hours, and the hands. The sapphire crystal protects the jet-black dial and nickel embellishments. The back of the watch is engraved with the bat symbol and the serial number. Additionally, the strap is made from carbon fibre, and the buckle from black PVD.

The packaging is designed to provide aesthetic pleasure to the customer. The exterior is decorated with symbols of bats in flight, while the interior showcases Gotham City at night. Fans and admirers of Batman will be able to enjoy this rollerball pen as if it were designed in the Batcave by Bruce Wayne and his butler Alfred.
The pen is made from aluminium with a black anodised finish. It features engraved bat symbols in many places, including on the nib.

The entire set is packaged in an elegant metal box, featuring a Batman logo cut from black glass (referencing the Dark Knight). Inside, there is a special artwork by Jim Lee. There are still a few months until Christmas, but Batman fans probably already know what they would like to receive.
