Lullabao
A leather basket with a fundamental, seamless shape. The leather is folded into a new pattern, akin to the art of origami: through this gesture, we are able to create and imprint its shape. The leather straps can be inserted into its side wings, becoming its handles. Dimensions: cm 44x30x20h
Their story is the story of a company designing and producing sustainable high-quality artisanal furniture. Tonucci Collection is the brand of the Tonucci Design studio.
The Tonucci Design studio was founded in 1970, when Enrico Tonucci began his design work with significant Italian and international furniture companies, gaining substantial experience as a designer, and over the years as an entrepreneur, through the founding and management of companies Triangolo, Arte Cuoio, and Teatro delle Muse. Viola Tonucci, who was educated in Urbino and at IED in Milan, completing studies related to graphics and industrial design with a specialisation in jewellery design, began collaborating with the studio in 2004, becoming a partner in 2012 until 2022, when she acquired a majority stake and took over the management of the brand.
Currently, the team consists of a handful of trusted collaborators who complement the commercial and production departments.
MISSION
The production of furniture and interior accessories for this brand is carried out using natural materials with respect for the environment and people. The company's mission is indeed to combine design and production processes to create beauty and comfort, taking into account new environmental sensitivities and a focus on the well-being of individuals in public and private spaces.
All production takes place in Italy, by the finest artisans from the area between Marche and Romagna.
